Had a great day at Classics in Corbridge, weather stayed warm and dry with none of the forecast showers.
Loads of visitors having a great day out admiring cars etc - well done to MG Northumbria for another well organised show. Bobby Pattinson was canny despite his years, did a good job with the presentations.
Only down side was that we heard of some disturbing events which caused some tyre damage to those leaving the show. We counted seven police cars between the show and the A69.

Can you elaborate? There were police directing us out but I turned south so didn't see anything untoward.
One of the reps told us that scissor blades and/or similar had been placed on the softened road surface. The police had closed the road off until the objects had been cleared but not before some tyre damage had occurred. All I know is that police cars were at the entrance to Tynedale Park when we left, cars therefore had to exit via the side of the Dyvels. At least 2 police cars on that stretch, 2 more on the roundabout, another at the end of the bridge, 1 in the centre of Corbridge and another at the A69 roundabout. Clearly something was going on as none of the officers were controlling/directing traffic.

Great photos by the way.
