Cannock/Stafford PH'ers
Discussion
Much like the Leicester thread, just wanted to see how many of you folk are local to me, I know there's V8MEL that owns the VXR8 & Monaro but who else is there, and what do you drive?
I'll start, live in Cannock and drive a Black EP3 Type R, with a red PH sticker on the back - of course! Give me a wave if you see me out and about

Okay I'm going to set a meet for Sunday Feb 5th at Midday at a pub called The Coach & Horses in Abbots Bromley. Seems to be as central as possible with the added bonus of some excellent driving roads from almost any direction.
Let me know either on this thread or via PM if you're interested. Would be nice to get a decent number as there's at least 30 spaces in the car park at the back, which is usually empty.

Yes (very much so) - but I cannot make the first couple of weekends in February.
Haha I don't know why I didn't just use your proper name in the first place! Oh well. Looks like I'm going on my own at this rate.. Might look at changing the date if I don't get any more interest over the next week or so Yes (very much so) - but I cannot make the first couple of weekends in February.

I'm up for a run out sometime, I can't do the 5th though.
The best time for a run out is early Sunday mornings as the roads are eeemmmppptttyyyy
Okay I'll have a look at a bit later in feb and let you guys know. How do you know me??
Seen the PH sticker on the back of your VXR8 in Tesco car park - found out your username from other folks on here. How do you know me??
I'll introduce myself next time I see you if you like?
I usually park close to you if I see your car - because I'm sad like that..

Live in Stafford and drive a ceramic blue Vauxhall Calibra with cream leather and silver 18 inch wheels, not many around so it stands out plus has a loud exhaust.
Rarely gets used during the week as I walk to work, has the occasional weekend run on local back-roads.
Any suggestions of good driving roads in and around Staffordshire much appreciated, ideally with somewhere to stop for food or a view for pictures!
Stafford to Rugeley to Abbots Bromley to Uttox then back to Stafford, good route! Will keep my eye out for you chap! Rarely gets used during the week as I walk to work, has the occasional weekend run on local back-roads.

I'm local(ish), live just outside Stoke (Goldenhill/Kidsgrove area). My lovely lady's parents live in Cannock so i'm down there fairly regularly! Not long had my car (56-reg Fiesta Zetec S) so haven't had chance to get a PH sticker for it yet, so the car doesn't exactly stand out..
Would love to get together with a few of you for a photo session/cruise about etc, find some decent roads
Congrats on the new car Tom. Nice motor. Would love to get together with a few of you for a photo session/cruise about etc, find some decent roads
Regarding a hoon - I'd be up for one too. There are a few of us (15 cars) doing a sprint day at curborough on the 11th of this month - could always go for a small drive after that if any of you guys fancied coming down to spectate? Maybe drive to a nice pub afterwards for a couple of drinks in a beer garden? Other than that, I'll see how work's looking in May and look at the possibility of a trip then, maybe welsh twisties?
