Hi folks, looking for somewhere trustworthy to fit near rear tyres to the Pork. ATS or similar can get the supersports im after I just worry about them damaging the ceramic discs.

Ideally Derby or Nottingham but anywhere around there within reason.

Cheers

Events website says they dont cover where I am.
Cant use OPC as they won't supply supersports. Or wouldnt last time I spoke to Nottingham.

Will give the place near stratstone a call thanks.

Inner Ring Tyres in Derby next to the Odeon and Stratstone BMW, been using them for years, very careful and prices remarkably competitive.
+1

I've used them for all my cars for years.

ETS on Alfreton Road are good too.

Not sure what the concern is with ceramic brakes mind with regard changing tyres?

Also, don't you have to have N rated tyres on a Porsche which are only available from the OPM?
The discs are very easily chipped so if a clumsy fitter were to catch a disc with the wheel then thats 5-6k for a new one. Worth the risk?

RE: N rated. Some people seem to be under the impression the world will implode if you dare to put non N rated rubber on. Ive had more than one tyre place tell me they cant fit non N rated to Porsche.

Its only really a concern if you renewing a warranty (even then some OPC's arent bothered) I dont bother with a warranty anyway, I once listened to a non porsche approved CD and was told they would have to void my warranty wink

Well if I were to stick with OEM N rated rubber for the RS. I would have to fit N1 rated Cups. I dont track the car very often, mostly euro trips so Cups a waste. plus 4mm tread only.

Ive got a good price from inner ring so ill give them a go. Thanks.
