I like to know what are the best places to live in Derby (near best public schools). I will be using A38 everyday and will be relocating with family and kids.

Might just be worth saying which way you are going on the A38 each day as if North, then Allestree/Little Eaton/Belper/A6 corridor may be slightly better than if you want to go South, in which case Mickleover/Littleover/Heatherton may be better. Also, is it a Derby superb or a fringe town you are looking at?
I will be working in denby.

Thanks for all your replies.

Can anyone please suggest any good areas near Village St?

You don't give much away! wink

Are you thinking just for the school? If so, there are probably better places in Derby and there is a bit of a reputation that hasn't been shaken off (Google Browning Circle shooting).

I think to get clearer answers, you need to tell us a list of must haves and a price range/house type as that can be more relevant in Derby/suburbs.
My budget is £650 to £700 pcm and looking for area near all amenities(GP, Dentist, schools, post office, may be tesco), my mrs has disability and its difficult for her to take public transport.
