Recommend a hotel north of Coventry?

travelling back from a company do in Harrogate mid January to Coventry and looking for a nice hotel/pub somewhere between the 2 for the wife and I to stay on a Saturday night. Preferably that does decent food and is relatively quiet and out of the city.

Coventry is Sunday's destination so probably better off within an hour of Coventry

Any recommendations?
