If anyone wants to follow me to Prodrive, I'm sure we can find a few nice back roads wink ( shout convoy!!!)

The usual meeting point near the NEC at about 08.15 will be the plan as the gates apparently open at 09.00 & depending on which route taken, may allow a very quick stop somewhere on the way

I'm sure there maybe the odd empty passenge seat for those that haven't made "the cut" for the 250, so please ask as the guys/girls will usually accommodate if possible & I'm sure drop you back at the meeting point

Sitting pretty at No 414 on the list hehe

Got a track day on the Saturday so may not be able to make it all morning, but may tag along for a bit of a drive out.

driving
If you change your mind, you can always follow us down & hop in with either me or Mustdash just round the corner from Prodrive as we'll have spare seats & you can then head off home when you're ready - at least you get to go to the SS that way wink

Ahhh, go on then.

Any idea of what sort of route we'll be taking?
There's a well tried/tested section of back roads south of the M40 around J15 with various options depending on weather conditions/time available, although we'll try to stay off the motorway before then given it's not a particularly long trip to the PHSS.

I'll send you a PM over the weekend once I've had a look at a couple of options - it'd be useful to be at Prodrive fairly promptly in case there are any organised tours that we need to sign up to as I can't imagine they'll let us just wander freely around their factory scratchchin

13. Herr Schnell - currently at 269 on the list so might have to park up nearby and hop in with someone

Update...Herr Schnell "closes in" on the entry point! I've also got a spare seat still if anyone needs a lift & doesn't make the required '250'.

356Speedster - I've PM'd you....

Currently, as per Ron Dennis, first of the losers at 251.

Thanks for the offer of PAX entry, Frances has offered too so I'll pass your invite on for someone else if that's ok.
No problem. I'm sure you'll make it to 250 later today.

As Craikeybaby said, Motorcycle Museum (B92 0EJ) at 08.15 tomorrow. I always bring a spare entry pass in case any one forgets! We might try & meet up with some others on the way, though it will depend on how well we make "progress".

hi on facebook someone said you can park round the corner and just walk in?
I think it's frowned on to just walk into the events (well that's what they say)..., I've an empty passenger seat - we'll find you somewhere safe nearby to park up & I you can hop in with me if you like?!

See you all bright & early in the morning driving

PS Herr Schnell, it looks like you're driving in the morning as you squeezed into the 250 thumbup

Giger - 8.15 "ish" to leave, but if you're 5 minutes late, don't worry.

As said before, I usually print off a spare entrance sheet of two (& have done so this time)

Hi all aim to meet at 815 and drive down to the museum and park up on the estate. Chris has kindly offered me a pax seat into the venue. If someone else can confirm a spare seat to get my +1 in (a lovely lady!) that would be fab??
^ that's smooth hehe

Brad - yes, of course. I hope to be at the museum at just after 8. We normally park on the right as you go in so we can make a suitable escape.

Thanks to all who gathered at the meeting point & I'm sorry we lost some of you so soon after leaving. I might revert to using walkie talkies again for the next one I organise, though I'm not going to Silverstone given other commitments.

Hope to see you all again soon & to admire the impressive selection of cars that turned out. Here's a photo of some at the meeting point (apologies for "size issues!")

Cheers for organising the meet this morning Chris, super route down there.
Thanks....if you ever fancy an early Sunday morning "sortie" into the Peak District there's a few other useful roads
I'm happy to share (the last 2 excursions over the Christmas/New Year period).
