So, I've somehow managed to snare myself a fine young lady and even persuaded her (with the help of something sparkly) to marry me.

Now, I'm more than happy for SWMBO to organise absolutely everything for her special day, however, the cars are a different mater!

Does anyone know of a classic car hire business in Cornwall or the South West that stocks a DB5 or 6.

I've tried Helston (no Aston) and Cornwall Classic Car Hire (in the process of being sold so no guaranteed availability for next year).

I'm willing to travel to pick it up, but I am aware of mileage restrictions and will only require the car for two days.

My heart is pretty-much set on the Aston, but if you can suggest an alternative, I'm happy to reconsider.

A good excuse for a pic! cloud9

Mate, come on! Did you even read my post? wink

They can't guarantee for next year. However, I did have a day in their E-type a couple of years ago, which was superb.

Forgiven... but not for beers on a Monday afternoon. That's just not fair.

We struggled to find anything so went with a Mk2 Jag in the end, which was probably a better option for the bride to arrive/depart in, and agreed to arrange a weekend break in a DB6 another time. Thanks for the reminder, we've still not done that!

I've just had a look around and I can't find the detail for the car we used, but he was a retired guy and basically did weddings to pay for the upkeep of the Jag. Possible he's stopped doing it, but I'll keep looking.
