Log burner installer recommendations

Morning all,

I'm looking for some recommended companies to carry out a gas fire to multi fuel stove conversion in Chipping Sodbury, to include fitting a flue liner, prepping the fireplace, making good etc.

Couple of people have mentioned Almondsbury Forge and Knight in Marshfield, who we are going to pay a visit over the weekend, just after some others to try.

Felthams coming either Tuesday or Wednesday next week, oddly they fitted one to a house in our street yesterday!

Prices have either gone up massively, they are pricing themselves out of work due to being busy or are charging us a Christmas tax as they just came back at £3.1k all in!

They want £795 + VAT to supply an install the flue, which seems to be about £295 on most sites, £500 to fit it?!

Trying some other companies, as that seems high to me.
