THIS EVENT IS TICKETED - SEE LINK ABOVE

The next @driveshafts_and_aircraft meet is happening soon and we can’t wait to see you and your wheels for another great evening!

As the big scary bold writing above states, this event is ticketed. At the last meet we had to turn cars away due to astounding turn out. To make sure nobody turns up and is disappointed we have made an Eventbrite event. Click the link in the bio to get your free ticket. When they’re gone they’re gone so get there quick! No ticket, no entry!

The last two events have been amazing with up to 200 cars from group B Renault 5’s, McLaren 720’s, Willys Jeep, Hot rods and hothatch’s. It’s a great evening! Few pics below:

Might be an idea to get them to open the outside food van, I imagine a lot that turned up for the last one wanted a burger or something only to be told you have to pre book for food in the restaurant, havng the outside food place open would be good
Already the plan!

Some day I’ll make it to one of these, but not this month.
You’ll have to. We are hoping to do a new years one but it we will only be doing meets during BST or it just gets dark far to early

The people that run that are Gritchie Brewing themselves. The guy who is the operations manager is a huge petrol head and he’s going to run a “meet the brewery” session from 3-6

Boo looks like it's sold out now frown Will have to come along to a future one.

For future reference, does everyone typically arrive by 5pm, or is it anytime from 5? I'd be coming from ~1.5 hours away so wouldn't likely arrive til 6.
Yeah, had all the ticket allocations taken in 24 hours… pretty crazy! I’d say you are more than welcome to turn up as a guest if the pub *wink wink*. But that’s a big trip for a 2 hour evening meet.

At the previous 2 events people have arrived early both times. But it’s meant to be arrive at 5 earliest and leave whenever you want.
In the summer they don’t start until about 6/7. We’ve just brought the time in due to daylight hours

Any chance there is a spare ticket going?
There is indeed.
We aren’t allowed to actually refuse entry to anyone that turns up as Compton Abbas is open as per usual
