Just a quick heads up folks. The Avenue Drivers Club will meet again on Sunday from 9am at Queen Square if anyone fancies coming along for a cup of tea and a slice of cake.
The forecast is okay and hopefully with no salt down on the roads for a while now we should have a better turn out.
Hope to see you there.

Hmmm. I used to get emails from ADC prior to meets - not had one in a while.
I did get an email from ADC t'other day - it was about Bristol and Bath Classic Car Run though.
When I finished doing the emails Tony took over but I know he has a lot of work commitments at the moment so may not have had chance to do it. We're aiming to let the club grow naturally by word of mouth and so people know that whatever is happening there will always be people there on the second Sunday of every month come rain or shine.I did get an email from ADC t'other day - it was about Bristol and Bath Classic Car Run though.
Evangelion -
When we first started it we used the Avenue Cafe as the base but since then its been taken over by new owners and they won't open until 10am so we still park in Queen Sq but use Che's cafe on the Welshback which is open in time and do great breakfasts.

I'm looking at planning a few drive outs to the Tetbury area once the weather gets better. If you haven't registered on our website then please do so as then you'll get the round robin emails that we send out each month: http://www.avenuedriversclub.co.uk/index.html
Its always great to see new faces there! I can barely believe that it'll be 4 years next month!

Amazing to see so many people there. This is a far cry from the early days of half a dozen cars.
On behalf of the founders I want to say a huge thank you to all of you guys who show up, take pictures, tell your friends and generally perpetuate the good nature of the club. I'll organise a small drive out for the June meet so we can fulfil the 'Drivers' bit of the club name. I'll keep you posted.

Not sure how we'll do on easter Sunday but hopefully it'll be a good one. If you haven't already registered then go to: http://www.avenuedriversclub.co.uk/joinus.html
We've got some decent things happening in June and July so we can keep you posted via email.

Criticism is a good thing and it makes the car world a far more diverse and interesting place. I feel that we should all make an effort to ensure that it is levelled in a fair and constructive way. That is all I am saying. Perhaps I am guilty myself by branding your comment as 'Snobbish'.
Right then folks, for those of you on Facebook there is a shiny-ish new page for the Avenue Drivers Club:
https://www.facebook.com/AvenueDriversClub
I'll keep it updated with news and runs planned for next year as the email is harder to manage with a constantly growing number of attendees.
Feel free to post on there and let others know what your doing. You can also message me from it and suggest anything that you might like to see at the club or any events that you may wish to organise.
Hope you like it.
