Old Petrol Station - Ferring?

I'm pretty sure I am not going mad but there used to be an old (50's?) petrol station nesteled inbetween some houses in the Ferring area of Sussex. I cannot for the life of me find it again.

It's ona residential road, has a fence out the front but had the old pumps there too.
Does anyone here know where it is? Google isn't being too helpful either

No it's a proper little place, been out of action for decades but rumour has it it still has all the sinage and bits from the 50's in it.

Thanks for that - it's been bugging me for ages, walkign round south Ferring looking for it. Clearly in the wrong part of town!

I heard a rumour years ago that there were cars etc still inside but took them with a pinch of salt - Sad that it's being destroyed/turned into flats though. Id have loved to keep it looking like it was and live in it!

Excellent! I am over in Angmering tomorrow so will have to do a drive past and have a look at the finished article! I love those pumps!

I am amazed by all this and would have loved to have looked inside. I was tempted a couple of times but didn't want the police arriving or to upset anyone! Stunning that this is literally on my doorstep!
