FAO: Folks around the Portsmouth areas with exotic cars
Discussion
Update*
When I say exotic, I actually mean anything cool and clean that would look great in photos!
I think I have mentioned this before in a couple of other threads in the past, but figured I'd follow up and get something in the calendar now that spring is soon approaching and with that, clearer weather.
I've taken plenty of car photos of my own car to play with lighting and techniques, and now want to put that knowledge to use and photograph some proper cars.
Naturally you'd get a copy of all the photos edited and in full resolution at no cost, I just want to shoot some great cars in some select South Coast scenic locations at specific times of day where the light is at its most moody.
If anyone is interested, please let me know!
Examples of car photography (and others) can be found through: http://robbiekhan.co.uk/
Many thanks

I did a mate's motorbike (CBR 1100) back in 2011, that was the first and only bike I'd done, and that was just for his use. Could give it another go with the now new knowledge and lenses!
The A1 Comp looks cool, indeed would make for some interesting photos.
Pat, the Mustangs together would be great with that colour contrast between them both.
I'm gonna have plenty to photograph it seems!

Hi,
I have a GTV Cup, and some friends with other Italian goodies organise occasional local meets - there are always a number of interesting cars. If you want to come along let me know.

That looks great! If today's weather is anything to go by, then it's starting to get brighter and warmer now, so over the next couple of months I'll start getting in touch with everyone interested and go from there Definitely count me in Ross, just let me know when a dat is confirmed and I'll bring the camera along.
1st April is quite near, and my car is in the shop on the 27th having some non-fault repair work done, not sure what courtesy car they will give me but have been promised "like for like", we shall see
@ bigalx, E36 M3 looks great too, it's going to be a busy spring/summer!

Oh wow, we are definitely going to have to sort a day out to photograph the Vanquish and ALfa
As for the boat @M5MarkM, I work for Wightlink, I may be able to ask nicely if we can have the hold area in the middle of the water between Gosport and Gunwharf for a brief moment during a quiet period one day.
Alternatively I know the sailing club by Priddy's Hard and could ask them too. Although I have no idea how big your boat is
Speaking of Isle of Wight, I'd really like to get a few cars over to the Island for some scenic photos with the light house/sea in the background too. I can sort all that out, but can only take a car at a time for free of course, although will have to check for any changes to that rule.

Hello again,
We have now confirmed that we will be holding a breakfast meet on Saturday 1st April.
This is predominantly for Italian Marques of all types and ages, but we certainly don't mind others coming along to join in.
The meet will be held at The Departure Lounge Cafe in Alton, which opens at 10am. They have a good field which they let us meet in, so we don't have to be in the regular car park.
For anyone in the southern part of Hampshire there will be a pre-meet and convoy leaving from Hedge End (J7 of M27) and taking the back roads.
If you would like to come please just come along. Either meet us at 08:30 in the Hedge End Sainsburys car park, in the bit by the petrol station, or at the Cafe.
We usually chat and look at the cars, have a good breakfast, and then get away again before lunch.
I hope you can make it, camera and all!

How often do you guys have the meet? I ask because I've had a work appointment come up which I probably will have to attend now in the morning, so will be bummed to miss this one, although I'd still very much like to take myself and gear to the next one!
Weather is still hit and miss folks, but I'm keeping an eye on forecasts
