Nice pubs just outside Soton

Alright, essentially I'm taking a (very nice) lady friend out for a meal early next week. Both of us live in Southampton but fancy a place away from the traditional city centre pubs and restaurants. Decent food is a must, but preferably not extortionate prices (sadly I'm not a rich man
