Good bodyshops in Southampton...
Discussion
Hello hello. Here's the story:
MOT day was today for Clio Willy, and it failed. I thought I had repaired everything, and it is in very good order now, but the MOT tester picked up on headlight adjustment (obligatory Clio fail), a dodgy brake hose (nothing my new braided hoses won't sort!) and lastly (biggest pain of all), offside rear suspension component mounting prescribed area (what a mouthful) is excessively corroded.
Knowing my car well, having redone the suspension about 5 times myself, I knew there was no problem with it so was surprised to find they include anything within 30cm of the mounting area a 'suspension component', including the sills. How the sills affect the suspension is a bit of a mystery to me, however, that's the wonderful randomness of an MOT...it's almost as if they make it up as they go along.
I checked the area they pointed out to me and it is solid, with minor rust appearing, excessive, it is not (in my opinion), but then again I am not a trained MOT 'makeitupasyougoalong' tester, so who am I to judge?
Ok, rant and info over with: Do you, the reader, know of any respectable firms in Soton that won't botch a sill replacement job and won't charge vast sums of cash to boot? I don't want a new sill going rusty within the year either...
Thanks in advance!

Hi my dad has a bodyshop in west end, southampton. he's been doing body repairs at the same place since 1972 - recently replaced pretty much every single panel on a williams too!

Thanks very much, just forked out a ton on various bits though. I'll need to nip a bit of rust in the bud on my arches before long and a bit of paint on other bits too!
