Manchester City Centre Parking?

Having only been in the city centre a small handful of times it's going to be down to Googles car park recommendations. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

I'm looking for somewhere around the Piccadilly Gardens area, as cheap as possible (free would be great!) but would prefer one that's not too shabby or has a history of smash and grabs.

Absolutely dreading the extra 3 mile journey (currently around Old Trafford) and the car park fees. Apologies if this has been posted in the wrong area.

Thanks chaps. Will consider them both. A bloke on work has also sent me the below link for some additional food for thought. Transportation pods (from The Fly) should have been built by now you would have thought

Thanks, used this one for a couple of days now and seems fine, especially for £2.50. 15 minute walk from the car park to my desk.
