Hi,

It's time to get organising the annual event number seven!

Links to the previous threads with photos, details etc can be found here;

Cottage Loaf 2010
Cottage Loaf 2011
Cottage Loaf 2012
Cottage Loaf 2013
Cottage Loaf 2014

Date: Tuesday 2nd June 7:00pm (until late)

Cottage Loaf Pub
Telegraph Road
Thurstaston
Wirral
Merseyside
CH61 0HJ

For those of you who don't know we hold a Piston Heads North West meet at a local pub annually on the Wirral. It has always been well received and all makes/marques of vehicles are welcome, so be sure to pop down.

It would be great to catch-up with you, see some familiar faces and see what cars this year brings. This year the Triumph club will also be in attendance and there's a handful of TVR's too!

Thanks,

Lund - E92 M3 4.0

Apologies for delay in providing info.

On a good day...and that has everything to do with the weather! We can expect a 2005 TVR Sagaris which has a special RAF tribute interior to a Spitfire, you will also see a couple of Chimaeras.

There is likely to be a good range of Triumph Saloons from Herald, Vitesse, Dolomite Sprint through to the 2500 range.

Sports cars will include Spitfires, GT6, and TRs plus convertibles from the Herald/Vitesse range to Stags. There is also a couple of special bodied Triumph sports cars of interest. Other makes include Austin Healey 3000, MGBs and Midget, classic Minis, Morris Minors and Ford's etc!

It's set to be a good meet.

Cheers,
Lund

They doing food?
Food isn't being put on, but in previous years we've been able to buy chips and possibly a burger etc over the bar for around £3.50 if you did get peckish but didn't want a sit down meal.

I'm a little miffed about the weather, but hopefully all is well later on and the sun shines!

Great big puddle across road at cottage loaf this morning when I went past. But the Forecast is for the gale force winds to drop to strong breeze after 5pm but no rain from about now. Wind should help dry things up. The GT2 has had a run to work this morning in the drizzle & was happy in the wet. Lots of thumbs up & smiles. Guys in a van even asked me to gun the engine at the lights for them. Nice to have some guys in a van be very complimentary rather than the opposite!

See you all later.

Andy
Cheers Andy, see you later.

I'm still on winter tyres and managed to spin up in 3rd on the way to work this morning! biggrin

theres a TRIUMPH meet there 1st tues every month if you want to go again.....
Yes, exactly this. First Tuesday of each month the club meets. It's Triumph Appreciation '& friends', and so all makes/models are welcome. I spoke with Dave Evenett and combined the two together for this event. I'm often down at the Triumph club night too so pop down if you fancy it. More information & website here: www.triumphappreciationwirral.co.uk. I'm updating it and working on it as we speak.

If you like restorations and Go Pro time lapse videos; one of our members restoring his Vitesse - part one here https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=wO_uE3M7FVg. A really interesting watch!

Cheers,
Tom

I'll also get organising the new Pistonheads Cottage Loaf Meet VIII soon too.

Yes I'll be there tonight in the M3, finally back on summer tyres! Should be a better turn out than last week a lot of the guys were away for one reason or another.

I'd best get my act together and get organizing Cottage Loaf Meet VIII 2016!
