So, the parents decided to sell the house and find somewhere else to live (yes, yes I still live at home so will be tagging along. Laaaame) The ol' mum found a bungalow in Cookridge and just had the offer accepted. So looks like it's ours.

One question is what's the insurance ratings etc like over in Cookridge? I'm moving from an LS17 postcode which was pretty low risk.

Also, any fellow Cookridge'ers that see a 24 year old struggling on digging the garden up or anything...giz' a wave!

Sound, cheers guys. The house is on the corner of Crag Hill Avenue if any of you know it.

In that case, I live about 5 houses away from you

Ha! I'll keep an eye out for your Celica (is it?) So far the only mildly interesting cars I've seen are a red Focus ST parked opposite, a loud RX8 and a lime green Exige yesterday morning.

And you're right MonkeyB, we don't hear the planes at all. The Saturday/Sunday footballers over the road are more noticable.

I know the family who owned that big house half way down Holt lane and the dad use to own a nice F355 but this was a good 12+ years ago.

Then there's the farmer along Cookridge Lane (something 'Pickles' I think) who has a car graveyard inc' Evos and subarus just sitting. Can even see all the cars he's stashed in his woods on google earth.

Yeah his Mrs and my mum are best mates. Was your mate a drummer as well? The son got me into drumming and I swear I use to see a kit set up in that big arch window facing Holt Lane.

Well my dad had an exciting night last night. On his way home coming from Bramhope and just before the left hand bend on Cookridge Lane he spots a Subaru pretty bent up, on it's side and on fire with the driver banging for help stuck inside.

Lucky sod.

I avoid going down Holt Lane, there are some nasty pot holes all the way down it.

Not seen anything exciting driving around in the past couple weeks either.
