Just had an email through from Steve Warrington - next years Mini Miglia is set for Saturday 14th March 2015.

Same start and end points as this year - starting at NW Auctions near Kirkby Lonsdale and finishing with fish & chips at Banny's in Colne.

I fancy another go, anyone else?

Steve wanted feedback, did we want more tests, should it be Classics only? I've said yes to more tests and no to being classic only - there are enough runs for classics already!

I suggested: yes classics
Oi! Bog off on one of your many classic-only events then, don't bork this for those of us with modern cars. I feel like I've been stabbed in the back frown

I loved mixing with the rare and classic cars this year but also enjoyed the modern 911, Logberts Impreza, even the new Fiat Panda that turned up. I'd like it to carry on being inclusive.

I'd say keep the same format, as earlier comment there are plenty of other events for Classics and this worked quite well being mixed like it was. Yes to more tests too, though I'd prefer more open ones than the tight one they ran around the Farm, never my favourite test that. A good clatter up through Waters Farm into the Quarry complex at Shap would be good. Not cocking the clue instructions up for those on Maps would help too. wink
I'd definitely be up for more tests as long as they're not too rough. I much prefer open ones too, I just can't get handbrake turns/power slides to work for me.

Some fresh info from Steve at Knowldale - more tests!

"Hi All,

We will be running the Mini Miglia Touring assembly on the 14th March 2015 , Again starting from NWA Auctions Crooklands near Kirkby Lonsdale .

This year we have managed to organise a few more tests (these are optional) and shortened the route slightly. The morning route will return to the auction cafe for dinner and the afternoon route will finish at Bannys chipshop for complementary fish and chips. The entry is open to classic and modern cars . The navigation can be completed by novice / junior entrants.

The regs and entry form can be found at http://www.knowldale.co.uk "
