Purely for scientific reasons I happened to find myself in a vehicle that was following an ambulance on blues driving up Otley Road from town a few hours ago. The ambulance was doing a good 60 from what I could tell from the speedometer in the vehicle I was travelling in, and it was interesting to note that none of the 4x GATSOs between Hyde Park lights and the Headingley BP flashed at all for neither of the vehicles passing them at twice the speed limit.

Meh. You can still see those flash even in day time. The filter is only mild on them and there was definitely no flash.

Also, the one pictured can't be working because it has normal GATSO lines instead of Truvelo lines for speed measurement, plus it's pointing the wrong way. That one has to be 100% fake with nothing inside it.

I've figured it out! I made a slightly tongue in cheek comment on a DIY bathroom refurb thread about the tile placement going against my OCD and it appears he took exception to it (even though it's not his bathroom) and decided to troll through my other posts looking for something else to get even more shouty and angry over!

The GATSO outside Cottage Rd cinema is working again. Had a Festa in front of me go through it doing about 35 and it flashed twice.

Just read that comment and thought I'd give my opinion on it. Probably the most uncalled for nasty comment I've ever seen on PH.

And it was only because I said in another thread I wasn't a fan of someone's tile colour choice! Some people take this internet thing too seriously!
