Looking for some help please. Had my car in at Kenny Brown's due to some juddering under braking to be told that both front alloys are buckled. Could visibly see it when the wheels were turned. However, he only knew of one good guy who could fix this but didn't know his name but thought he was based in Newmains but couldn't be sure.

Does anyone know who this may be or indeed have any other recommendations? Any assistance much appreciated.

Thanks for your replies guys. Pretty handy as I work in Prestwick so will pop down and see them tomorrow.

Hamish - it is the rims and not the spokes so fingers crossed.

Cheers

Hi Scott, thanks for the info. Unfortunately it is both front spiders but as they are only 5mins away from work I'll pop down tomorrow lunchtime. I don't think the spiders were ever the strongest of alloys if I remember some other threads correctly. Fingers crossed.

Cheers, Cammy.

Hamish/Scott - went down at lunchtime. Was told that Stuart Orr was no longer there and had moved(?). Have to say I wasn't too comfortable with the set up for having wheels repaired, albeit prob absolutely fine for re-coating.

John - thanks for link and will get price for repair. This is probably the place indicated by Kenny.

Think my plan is to buy new spiders, and then get old ones repaired and re-coated if necessary and then sell them.

Thanks all for help.

Cheers, Cammy
