I saw that this big bit of hull had been loaded out on the Clyde and is headed for Rosyth.

Does anyone know the name of the barge?

I wanted to track it on " Live Ships" or something but I can't pick it out.

Thanks.

Do you mean it won't leave the Clyde to go round the top to Rosyth?

Any links?

Thanks. What's the name of the barge it's on?

I've followed a couple of the previous blocks on AIS and I've never seen the barge itself been listed - only the tug(s). It should be possible to find out the name once the tow starts.

The previous block went the long way round due to inclement weather, so this bit might well do the same.
Aha, thanks. smile

Hey, Chunkers, if you get up one morning and you notice it's not there while you're yawning with one hand in your Ys, remember and post back here. wink

I'm surprised they're so far offshore.

I was thinking that, having come out of the Clyde, neither the barge or the tugs must have a particularly large draft.

I'm guessing they'll be going to the east of Lewis.
