Can anyone reccommend a mechanic in Aberdeen locality to replace the clutch on the G.Fs car. Mechanic that has had a look at it can not do it as I belive the engine may have to come outeek but not sure.

Cheers Des, but not too sure that if he is used to having the likes of your Ferrari gracing his workshop that the GFs battle scarred P reg oiler might be taking the mick,

Engine out?? Err, you can just drop the subframe. It gives you enough clearance to get the box split from the engine and the new clutch assembly in and alinged (though you do that with your fingers, not the spline tool. No space)

Seriously, if he's pulling the engine out, he's doing it the hard way.
Are you busy.... cos cant get anyone that sees it your way, Either way its a major strip to get in and no one qoutes below £400 up to the GF wether its worth it.
