Hi, We're changing out the suspension on our Locust for tubular wishbones & coilovers, adding a roll bar etc. Now, while my welding talents can cope with non stressed items I would be far happier to have someone do the serious stuff.

I would tack weld everything as the positioning and locating mountings are the time consuming bit.

So, anyone know of someone who would come and spend possibly a couple of evenings or a weekend stint?

Obviously, we would be happy to pay for this.

Sorry, location is Portlethen.

Hi Charlie, long time no see. My brother and I bought this thing a couple of months ago. It's an 89 build, with, wait for it, A Lotus 1558cc Twin Cam Engine. lick 2000E box, 5 link rear end. The engine is great. The suspension is worse than crap. yikes Which is why we're changing to adjustable coilovers and tubular wishbones.

At the end of the day the engine is worth more than what we bought the car for! So the wee thing deserves a bit of money spent on the other bits. New calipers, brake master and slave cylinders , new quick rack. driving

I'm hopeless at posting pics.on here. I can send you a couple via E.mail if you like.

Anyway, wasn't sure if Locusts would be very welcome on the 7 site.redcard
