Post Christmas Blast: Monday 27 December 2010 0930-1300

My fellow PHers - with all the crap weather recently, my 911 hasn't turned a wheel since the dinner on the 27th November and I'm getting withdrawal symptoms.
I'm busy with domestics etc until Christmas but have promised myself a wee run on 27th December before the Glasgow Night Out so I thought why not see if anybody fancies coming along.

Route is ready and will be a mix of Kenny's Stirling Run and my Argyll Run with a 0930 start, a coffee stop and an optional lunch at the end around 1230.



If you skip lunch you will be back in Glasgow by 1300.

IF THE WEATHER TURNS ARCTIC AGAIN WE CAN MAKE A DECISION ON CANCELLING ON BOXING DAY.

If it's bad weather I'll still go, but we could cut it shortish n make it a fun run to a nice food stop?

Ok I'll work up a quicky route using the bigger roads as a contingency.

Guys - I am going to run the route that I have sent out on boxing day morning - if its dodgy anywhere (especially the first "alpine" section) I will send an amended route using the same start point that we had for the November Argyll run.

It will be clear in the e-mail, either way i'll post when I get back.

• ********************IMPORTANT ROUTE CHANGE*****************************************

The Duke's Pass is a little squirrely this morning and as we have a possibility of some snow overnight I have decided to change the route to the less challenging alternative to ensure we keep everybody's P&J intact.



The new route has been emailed and is only about 3 miles shorter but it stays on major roads.



Please note the NEW MEET POINT is in the route (same as the Argyll Run in November)

Might be upgrading???? but then again, the banana does just fine against the lower end porkers like yours ( johny's and Al's cars are different). I'll have a look to see if i can make the 13th, but i'm on a course in March sometime.
