Where to see and what to do??

So looks like i'm getting a new car this Friday in Wrexham.
Getting the train from London, picking up car and then may well spend a could of days just tootling around.
What's to see and do up there?
Places to go, places to avoid and even places to stay?

Any help appreciated for a Londoner on a trip to Wales.
