I have a 1982 280i v6 cologne 4 speed. what box is it likely to be? Type N or type 9? Sorry if it is a stupid question. thanks

Thanks for that mark. steering rack done, think i have got to the bottom of the stalling. thermo time switch i hope. got one ordered should have been here today, hopefully tomorrow. getting a new speedo cable from speedy cables which is why i needed the box dts. still to do the leaky head gasket but it is just a very small leak so it can wait for a wee while. full engine out over the winter, i'm hoping to get my mates lockup which is better than doing an engine in the drive?
