Hi,

I want to book the fest for Sat 13th July.

I have a couple of questions before I do book us a venue etc.

1. Do you want a BBWF next year, because so far we have had very little response to a previous post, and some very anti the fest from other posts, thus the reason for this question!

2. As much as we would like to find another venue. The Chase is the only one who are happy to except what we do. Yes its a long run from up north, and its a long run (Not quite the same as Scotland) from Devon/Cornwall, or even from Europe. So will you be happy for me to book the Chase again?

Please responed even if its in the negative, at least it will be something!

Hi

Thanks for the response from some of you!

The Chase will hopefully be confirming the 13th tomorrow (friday), I will start a new list once we have that conformation plus booking details etc!

I will also arrange the same cater as this year as most people seamed to enjoy the food!

Plus I am also look at another attraction for this year, if this comes off we can realy see if our wedges can move! I am not going to say any more than that at this time!

Also a wedger? So far there's at least 5 wedges in Finland (1x400SE bought new, my 350i, 2x350i imported after mine and 1x280i imported this year). I've also seen and met the owners of 3 Chimps and 2 Cerberas and 1 S. I just sent a question to the local authorities about the current TVR-count in Finnish plates.

Hi actualy was a Cerbie owner named Lee!
We were chatting about the work/holiday I had in Finland in 88/89 at Parola, the Finnish Tank Museum!
Plus the Finnish winter, we complain over here if we have an inch or two of snow and how the country grinds to a halt when that happens! While in Finland if you have 2ft of snow you just keep going!

One of the other Cerbie owners also has a wedge!

Hi Jon

You have a clever daughter!

See if she can make one for next years Theme!

30 years of the 350i

We have the first production 350i and the last 350i made attending.

It would be nice if we can get one of the three pre-production cars!

Off course we want as many examples as we can get to come, plus as many of the other wedge models, starting with the "White Elephant" the "Yellow Beast" and the "Taz Turbo".

So the line up is looking great already and it's still only 2012!

Hi

I am trying to organise a few different things to do on the day.

Has anybody else got any idea's they would like me to look into!

So far we are already doing, the run out, the concourse, the loudest wedge, rat car, trade stands and the Charity raffle

In the evening we have the evening meal, entertainment is yet to be organised!

The extra things so far are!

I am looking at using the Shakespeare Race Way, to see if we can do a drag/sprinting competition! (No Zig not a drag artist competition!)

It's your event gents & ladies so please please let's have some sensible ideas!

Hi

190 driving and drinkbeer plus yumyum days to the best Wedge event of the year!

We need some ideas for extra things to do so please give me some ideas to see how we can make the fest even better!

The theme for this year is the 350i as its 30 years since this model joined the TVR range!

We have the First and Last production 350i's already coming, so we need at least one of the three pre-production cars, plus at least one 350i 2+2 (Stu please keep your's going till then.)

The last production car is a SE but we need as many of these to come and as we have done in the previous Fest's tried to set a record or two so lets see if we can get as many 350iSE together!

Then we have the SX's we had two 350 last year (Plus Adams 400) can we do better this year!

Then very importantly we need as many 350i series 1 and series 2 and FHC cars to come!

Which will leave a little bit of space in the car park for as many other wedges models we can get to come and fill up the spaces hehehehe

There are a couple of SEACs already coming plus the "Yellow Beast" The "White Elephant" the "Taz Turbo" so come on get your names down on to the who's comming list so we can make this an even better event!

Hi

188 driving and drink days to the fest! woohoo

Well I can confirm we have the Rolling Road again. I have persuaded them to accept payment direct to them on the day.

But we still need you to book in advance (Separate post on the forum) so we know the approx numbers who want to brake there cars! hehe

This year the competitions will be divided into four classes;

The highest bhp for V6 cars.

The highest bhp for V8 cars.

The highest bhp for blown/supercharged cars.

The worst bhp for any car.

This means Zig has a chance of winning one of three diffferent classes depending on what he can get his car to do biggrin
