Think I may even have started a post about it some while back and then vaguely recall somebody actually having done it. Have come back round to working out what to do with mine. Question is wrap vs paint and interested to hear how the wrap has held up over time. Wondering how the wedge would look in Jaguar French Racing Blue?!

Glad I asked! Thanks chaps, helpful warnings - sounds like a respray the better route on glass fibre. Mine desperately needs doing - it looks like an 80s bathroom suite. Slightly ashamed to say but I also quite like that wrapped M5!

Thing is with mine is that it is primarily a track car which I hope to race later this year although it it still road legal. Therefore the expenditure on a respray doesn't feel worth it given the likely knocks and other items that are likely to consume funds. Not sure if the elusive 'cheap' respray is feasible in which case wrapping, even if it only gave me a few years, might not be such a bad idea.

Tony, would be very grateful if you could let me know who you use as that sounds like what I am after! Ziga, agree there is plenty to spend on to go racing but I'd kind of like the car presentable rather than looking like an old bathtub!
