Im enjoying my new purchase from Tony (Elviswedgely) but the Stainless Steel dashboard has to go (sorry Tony)
Im going to replace all 3 parts and put it back to how it should look!
I have seen recommended on here a company called Chapman and Cliff who can produce this for me and they also make the very nice gearstick/handbrake surround
Does anyone else have any recomendations? any other PH's got any good photos of there dash boards after a refit?
Thanks

Ive just had my dash refurbished.. 21 years of sun, dampness had taken their toll and the veneer was cracking off.
Mine has been at London Carriage Craft. They have also had my steering wheel for repair.
Expecting the bits back any day now.
They arnt cheap, but by reputation, they are one of the best.

Had the Elephant's done at London Carriage Craft.
Malcolm is Park Mulliner Ward trained and IMHO you'll struggle to find anyone better. His prices aren't bad either.

I need to get mine out the one behind the steering wheel. So I need to break my arm in two places/get an arm transplant from a filipino lady/bribe a small child with sweeties to get at the securing nuts/bolts or are they not too bad to get at? How many fasteners are there?
On the 400, two on the one on the dash. Want some piccies? Mine are sort of sans nuts. Saves on the filipio's and bribing.TVRinBFG said:
What are people paying to have this work done?
MONEY James!!!! Ha HaMine for the glove box, centre dash and speedo dash and the new one over the handbrake was £160 about 4 years ago
I gave them a good pic of my wooden steering wheel and they matched the colour superbly

Speak to Malcolm at London Carriage Craft - I seen his work and workshop and
The wood veneers are fantastic - especially some of the Bentley bespoke stuff he's done.
I've done a self fix on my 400se to last for the summer( see pic) but will revert to a Walnut finish over the winter
Use the inner of the 2 panels on the centre dash if you want to fit chrome bezels which are available from
Classic bezels and not expensive, but it is quite involved to get them to fit.
Good luck

OK, if anyone wants to contemplate the 400 dash removal.
Nice n posh behind the shiny but that sodding bolt and nut are hard to get at. Watch out behind there with a spanner.
Then the panel is held in with four fixings. Mine were held in with self tappers. So I changed them for stainless screw sets, nuts on the rear with anti vibration washers though I seem to remember purchase is not that good through the dash fibre glass so be careful. I left top left out as the car by then has ate most of my knuckles.
