Guys & Gals

That time of year again when we start planning the Brown Ale Run (BAR). The dates for this years run are April 25th-27th with two nights (Fri-Sat) in the following hotel.

I have managed to get a great rate at the Quality Inn Hotel which is located in Boldon, Tyne & Wear.

http://www.qualityinn.com/hotel-boldon-united_king...

I have been given the rate of £65.00pn Per double room which includes breakfast, use of all leisure facilities and free wifi.

This rate is based on booking at least 10 rooms, if we fall short the price will be £75-00.

I am going to have the hotel supply menus so everyone can also see what is on offer within the hotel for food and drinks.

Their is a petrol station within 300m of the hotel for filling up, those requiring Vpower or the like Shell is approximately 1 mile away.

Anyway, I have a meeting with the reservations manager the week proceeding the January 20th it would be great if I could give her the start of some numbers looking to attend. I will post more details up once I have them.

All support of the BAR is most welcome, it is a great weekend.

Please add your name to list below if you are able to attend.

Regards

Rob

Looking to get a few good runs sorted out.

This is not a wedge exclusive gathering. Open to all makes and shapes of TVR and interesting cars as with the RNR.

Haha see you guys there. I have searched far and wide for hotels and it has been a bit of a night mare to be honest.

If you fancy plotting some run outs with me it would be great.

Gutted... I will look at other dates if everyone is ok with that, a bit later in the year. I would love all who would and could attend to be there. I was just trying to keep it far enough away from other events so it didn't impinge on others arrangements. Leave it with me.

Lovely offer, Mary up for giving me a lift to Nottingham Monday, no problem with the car just tight you know !

Hi rob

fingers crossed after so long, finally remembered to pick up the new dash veneer for your 460 if it's the right hand ?

The heater controls have to be on the right ? If so, yours if you still want.

As for the BAR dont go changing, as so many are up for it already, even had Tricky telling me he's going. One i am likely going to regret missing (or just hold it North Wales and we can put everyone in bunk beds but bed at 9 for everyone laugh

hotty

edited as remember the big engine upgrade (basta3d)
Haha, had Tricky on trying to get hold of you for calendars, I told him you take forever to get back.......! I will check which way my heaters are in the morning as I will be taking the beast out and kicking it's head in....

Drop you a line tomorrow so I should hear back from you in 2022.

Wow...... Thank you to everyone who has responded via the forum and privately. You guys attending these runs are what makes these weekends a success. Dixie and I are plotting great runs out for all to enjoy.

I have a meeting to finalise the the hotels details and reference number for booking up. This will be added to the forum as soon as I have all the correct details.

Looking forward to seeing you all and enjoying some great roads with plenty of banter along the way, in the finest of company.

Cheers
