Hi Peeps..Well its only fitting that we nominate someone this year as has been done for the last two years..I would like to nominate but can't..Being the organiser and all that.

It should be someone who stands out for their contribution to the Wedge forum..Helping others with their input of knowledge and skills...Above all must be a jolly nice chap.

There will be 1st...2nd and 3rd placings and the 1st place will join the other two recipients from the previous nominations...(Myself and Trickie.. smile )and will be engraved on a base that houses the original "Weeman Award" ..This is..(As those of you who are aware of this award know)..an honour as its in memory of a genuine kind soul who left this fraternity all too early..

Votes should be emailed to me directly and i will like two more volunteers please to collect votes so that no favouritism happens towards any one candidate, Not that it would anyway...The contenders will be announced once we have an unanimous vote of three people and the one who gathers the most votes will be the winner.

So get your Wedge head on and put your nominee forward....Cheers...Ziga

This would be easier with 2 Baked Bean tins and 140 miles of string! hehe
Yep...I was thinking about a carrier pigeon but i only have a penguin..He was left over from teaching me the golf waddle..I was supposed to teach him to fly as a return favour but its never gonna happen...Penguin burgers are becoming more and more appetising though...scratchchin

Oooooh! Baked Alaska! That used to be a real treat in our house when I was younger! Sad upbringing!!

A.
Ha ha ha...It was a real treat in ours too..Although whenever my dad tried to cook it it was more like global warming....It was normally fruit salad with either evaporated milk or just some strawberry Angel delight...lick.

While this is the thread for the "Wedge personality award" it gives me great pleasure to announce that i have the award safely on the side at home ready to be engraved...It truly is a stunning piece of kit..It weighs an absolute ton but the stainless steel base that was kindly donated by Mr Tank weighs even more..
This award will be taken to the fest for the winner to have their photograph taken with it but it must return home with me..Although a permanent award will be given on the night.
So come on keep the nominees coming..Cheers..Ziga

Hi Tony...I would do that but then the winner will know who they are and the surprise element will be lost...I did ask for someone else to help collect votes but no-one came forward...I have the emails from people who have voted if you want to see them but the potentials need not know who they are... smile

[wait, it's coming...]

[are you on the edge of your seat yet?]

[wait a bit longer biggrin]

[almost there]

[it's...]

Everyone who drives a Wedge, they're all personalities biggrin
Well mate I'm not even going to quote all that as its way too long...

Longer still...

Still even longer than longer......

Ok...Perhaps its not the longest...Its what you do with it that counts.......Sorry had to just slip that one in...(Said the bishop to the actress)...

You are right mate...We are ALL personalities...Its merely a quest to distinguish a particular personality...One whom we share the admiration for in their contribution to the ownership of the TVR Wedge...May of course be a character whom we enjoy the friendly banter with or maybe someone who shares with us their experiences, Knowledge and authority on such an appreciating Classic iconic hand built british sports car that will hopefully live on long after we have gone....

Long Long after....

Even longer than that....

This is too bloody long....But you know what i mean...thumbup

Right after some new info I'm posting up the nominees..Sorry that i didn't before..I wasn't sure how it was done previously.

The nominees for this prestigious award are:

Adam Quantrill
Hallsie
Andy P...RCK974X
Jack Valiant
The Hatter.

And myself...Even though i did advise you that i can't accept it for various reasons but thanks anyway.....Either one of the nominees can exclude themselves for the award at any time they wish to do so.

This will also be posted and probably should of been posted on the TVRCC wedge forum..I don't know as i said its my first time at organising it.

Well keep the nominees coming in please via email or you can vote on the day..Just means the award won't be engraved, Either the winners prize or the main award...Cheers...Ziga
