Ive seen your car for sale.
Being a yoof i absolutely love the body kit of the 400SE.
Im not in a position to buy for another week anyway.
What part of London are you from. My mum lives near Guildford. Are you close to Guildford?
The rarity of your car appeals.
Guildford is not very close distance wise, but driving down the M25 round London it's about half hour drive as I am just off the M25.Being a yoof i absolutely love the body kit of the 400SE.

You won't be dissapointed with the car. It's a beast.

Cheers Tony.
I am definitely interested.
I may contact you at the end of the week or next weekend.
Contact me when you are ready. I'm in no hurry. Word of advice from a Wedge enthusiast and club member. Be weary of a Wedge that's been standing. I bought one once that had been off the road for a few years and it was a money pit. Things start to go wrong one by one as you start using it. My car is taxed, mot'd and reagularly used. It's been to many TVR meets this year including BBWF 2014.I am definitely interested.

The ad and price made it worth a look.
For the stress craps on mine around the headlights - I cut and chased the crack all the way through.. 2 layers of glassfibre on the underside and resin some chopped stands of mat in the cut I made .. no filler.. just build up with resin and flat off.

Its a real shame when pretty small repairs on these cars end up with cat D's. Its really so expensive to fix fibreglass and lots of the "specialist reccomended insurance workshops" don't have a clue so end up quoting high, hence the cat d. Its only body remember, not structural as that's cat c.
The only problem is resale...its like mileage on a car, people IMHO spend too long worrying about it when with cars like tvrs you need to buy what you see not what the paperwork says.
Regardless, high mileage and cat d will always be cheaper to buy...but does mean they will need to be cheaper when you sell.

Did the thread get a hair cut? Bit disappointing if it did..
The thread got a haircut without notice, apology or reason, probably because some people didn't like what they are reading. Obviously, freedom of speach is restricted on this forum even though from what I could see people were just stating past facts and events they had experienced in order to save fellow Wedgers grief about a car on sale with a dodgy past. I think, I too, like many others, will switch over to using the official TVR forum soon.Tony. TCB.
