Cheers Wedg1e, I'll order a set tomorrow.
been reading the bible, this seems quite a daunting jib to do on a driveway. Whats folks opinion, can i do it on the drive or let a garage do it on the lift?

Well. Finally got a chance to sort this today. The discs are fine so i got a nice set of EBC pads, cheapest option first!
Off with the old on with the new and see what difference they make if any.
Start taking of the n/s pads...some bodge repairer has used an effing nail rather than a split pin which had rusted through. The top half had caught just under the pad causing the noise and groove in the disc and in getting there has slit the dustseal on the caliper.
questions are...
who the f@@k would use a nail and why..
and anyone got a dust seal for the n/s rear and can tell me how to replace before next wednesday without taking the caliper out.
oh and who would use a nail!!!!

Got a set of rear calliper seals from bi** re* for a xj6. Unfortunately they are way too big. frown
Has anyone got a part number for the correct ones? I'm assuming bi** re* sent rear xj6 ones.

cheers
