Dumb question....how to get the battery out
Discussion
Oh dear...Not you as well...This happened to me when i replaced my battery...It seemed it was physically impossible as the inner wheel arch was hindering anymore forward movement..But my thinking was.."It went in so it should come out"...When i ran my hand along the inner wing edge there is fibreglass missing where whoever put that one in obviously caused damage..However with much effing and blinding it came out...Kind of ..I lifted the front edge and pushed it toward the engine and it eventually came out...Im just glad the new one is slightly smaller...Ziga
Funny that - I was looking at my 2.8, which doesn't have the 'dent' and wondering about copying the idea so as to get a bigger battery in. It's a pain trying to find a battery that will fit and has enough guts.
I was thinking...."The top of the new dent will have to be close to the wing top, otherwise I won't be able to get the battery in and out, and it will still be a bit marginal"

You have to keep moving it in a way that should normally remove it, continue this till the battery fairy decides it's time to come out. Only then will it be released.
I have the same problem Infact I only took mine out to charge on Sunday..... Sorry to mean he battery fairy took it out..
