Remote linkage bushes

How long should it take me to change the bushes on the side of the remote linkage U type bracket?

The top ones look fine but the side ones have plenty lift in them although no trouble with gear change! might as well change them if simple job while up on the ramps but I have seen a thread somewhere on here that indicates the gearbox needs to be jacked and then lowered, is this right?

I am on my back doing the job but they do look just about accessible.

Hoping to get away with just doing the bottom ones as the top ones seem as though they have been changed some time recently, which I don't understand, why would you do the awkward ones and leave the easier one's?
