Can the sump cover be removed without the engine out?

Well getting the sump off was a right pain in the arse. So no doubt putting it back on when its steam cleaned will be even worse. The bracket on the Exhaust was right in the way. So i had to disconnect the off side drop pipe from the manifold and it doesn't look like it wants to go back in when the time comes.

Aye typical TVR Steve lol. Ill get it back on somehow. Just painted it with Hammerite which after thought will probably peel off when it gets hot lol.

Dare'nt fill it with oil as it was tricky to say the least getting the sump back on without the gasket slipping all over the place even with sealant. Fingers crossed should be fine though. Wish me luck when i do pluck up the courage lol.

Spoke too soon sump is bone dry. Should have investigated further one leak is dripping off the starter motor and the other is off the bracket that holds the exhaust onto the gearbox. That's a queer one as i cant see where that could possibly come from up above?
