Right then chaps......bit of a tutorial for you all if you are interested

As you know my original seats are being refurbished so I bought a set of old nasty Chim seats as a temp measure. I've not intention of keeping them as I will sell them on once mine are all done.

The leather on the chim seats was not ripped but one seat was stacked on the other for a number of years causing a big sodding dent!!!!

So here is the story of how to remove it using your better halves hair dryer lol

What I started off with

Then broke out the wifes hair dryer to soften the area (nb the heat does something to the leather, makes it taught or something???)

Once the area is really hot get stuck in with you finger and thumbs to squeeze, pull, smooth the area over and over again..........stopping to re heat as you go (a hot air gun would also work just don't burn anything!)

Then its time to break out the kitchen steamer........no really!

This now really softens the leather and repeat the squeezing, rubbing and smoothing between your fingers and thumbs re steaming in between

Then after about 10 minutes in total you get this :-)

After

Seats were from an early Griff and by the looks of it have been coloured or painted along time ago

Not planning on refurbishing them, the next owner can so that lol

Just having a play :-)
