350i Sump plug size.

Hi Peeps...Just want to confirm that i have the right size sump plug before i attempt to remove the old one...By the look of it the head is 17mm...The thread is 19mm and not sure what the pitch is...25tpi?

Mmmmm...Cheers for the input chaps...I just want to make sure its the right fitment, It was advertised as for a TVR 350i V8 but theres no guarantees it will fit...I will see what the 3.5L Rangey has....

There does seem to be a big difference between the one i have bought and one from Grimmers...Im wondering if its because its magnetic..Im not too bothered about the bolt head size but obviously the thread needs to be right..And i don't mean ..."Right said Fred"...

Hopefully the new magnetic one will fit but if it doesn't then ill back it minus the new washer...

Adam that looks the same size thread as i have...The pitch may be the same although a stubbier thread...
Paul..I will match them up but essentially i will try it and if it doesn't fit then i will re-fit the old one with the new washer...Cheers...Ziga

Hi Peeps...Just to let you know that the magnetic sump plug that i bought was the wrong thread..Its more like Adams or the one from Grimmers...Luckily mine is a magnetic type already and there wasn't too much "Swarf" on it...Cheers...Ziga
