Coming up for a year of ownership, so need to think about renewing my insurance

Aside from the usual place I get my insurance (admiral), where else should I try.

I'm 23, 5 years ncb and a pesky student. Insurance is difficult.

Quotes So far:

Admiral: £350 (6k agreed value)
Adrian flux: £6200 !!
Aviva: £900

Anywhere else I should try before renewing with admiral?

My boy is 23. He's in full time employment with a very well known accoutancy firm, drives a brand new Mercedes company car and will soon be a fully qualified accountant. He has a clean licence and several years no claims and wants to drive my Wedge, but so far all we've had are rediculous quotes or total refusal due to age. If there are any companies out there that will insure him, bearing in mind we live in London, please let us know. We have tried many companies but all say minumum age 25, though we have not tried Admiral but we'll give them a go.

Admiral will do an agreed value Classic policy if you phone them up. They have been very reasonable with me when I took out the policy at 22 thumbup

Lancaster wouldn't quote me.

Went into my local brokers. "What's a TVR, what make is it?" he said.

In the end, aviva sent it to the underwriters and topped admirals quote. 1 year of insurance cost £290 for me

Not bad for a 23 year old doing 8000 miles per year!
