Headlights ( yet ) again

Gents,
Apologies if covered earlier but would welcome your thoughts on this.
Refurbished motor installed from Rob sport and motor raises but will not drop.
Oddly once pulled out of the garage after 5 mins running dropped of its own accord after staying up when switch turned off.
Then refused to lift and now comes up and wont go down !
MOT looming so may have to resort to removing relays after winding up by hand.
Also some good news changed the coolant temperature sensor as not idling correctly when cold and has totally transformed cold warm up etc
As usual any advice would be great
