What is too much?

When I have got the fuel pipes replaced and the sill back on, I want to get the back end of the car re-sprayed, as some of you may remember, when I bought it I had the front done but its not a perfect match and the pin strip is in the wrong position.

Anyway; the wife says I am spending too much on the car! both time and money

Can you spend too much?
