Enjoying a day off in the man cave

I thought I'd put Mark Adams' comment to the test.....if your plenum doesn't have the pre heat thing on the underside you can take the NS rocker cover off without removing the plenum itself

As i wanted to re paint my NS cover i though here we go.....slid out no bother. Cool :-)

Time to strip

So whilst I left that to work its magic I roped the wife in to move my bonnet into the lounge lol where else

As I was sick of my curly bonnet shield so a bit of evo stick and some bricks helped

Well time for a beer now :-)

.... and she is still your wife????? ;^)
She's great :-)

Once I finished stripping the rocker cover and washed it down outside. I needed to ensure there were no little bits behind the splash plate

So in the dishwasher it went :-)

I'm sure one day I'll push my luck to far lol

She'd be thrilled, just got to get her in the car, I've owned 11 TVRs and she's ever even sat in 1....hates them lol

Top tip zig, but didn't need to clean the inside of the covers as they were hardly coloured / tarnished at all......very clean

Well all the scrubing gluing sticking priming and painting is done. Found a nice alloy oil filler cap on flea bay and some new TVR stickers as well

Better get it all fitted tonight ready for the David Gerald open day on Saturday

Hi mate...Rocker cover looks nice...Did you check the breather hole and have you replaced the foam filter?...I can send you a piece of filter foam if needed but you will need to cut it to shape, Grimmers do it but mine is Free...smile
cheers fella, have checked the breather with one of the wife's sewing needles (shhhh lol) and have a piece of foam ready to slot in :-)

Well that's a relief.....always tense when you swap HT leads incase I screw up the wrong lead somehow

Just been out for a wee spin and all good, another bonus is the rockers don't leak either but will check the bolts after a few runs

Right......what's my next job lol

You're right! Just googled some images - it's been a long time....

It's mine that are the other way around! The oil filler would be in the way of the supercharger outlet duct.
Ah lol...
