Fiber optic to LED

There was an older thread on here for upgrading the fiber optic lights to LED on the center console.

Can't seem to find the one that gives the detail so does anybody know what i need to achieve this?

I thinks there are plenty BA9 LED fitments about now Mark but not sure sure it will improve things drastically by keeping the same fiber optic set up, if you do it though and it does improve let me know. I am probably only looking to get the gear together for this update a little later in the year, maybe even a winter upgrade along with refurb of the walnut, which reminds me, are the new dash board veneers still available anywhere?

Yes, got some of them LED's but when i came to look at doing the job i realized that it is slightly more awkward than i thought (mainly due to the fact that the plastic section thingy that holds the panel together needs some fixing)and put it to one side as not important at the moment.
The dash i would have been interested in but mine is 390 shape.
