350i running rough when warm
Discussion
Hi All
Not been on for a while as the TVR hasn't seen much use due to building work taking all my time at home. Last time I took her for a blast I noticed that once warm there was the odd short spell of rough running. Similar to running out of fuel for a split second then ok again.
I had her out yesterday and she started first turn as always. Ran great until the gauge hit 85 degrees or above then back to the intermittent rough running. By the time I got home it was noticeably rough!
I've been reading all the post I can find. Most seem to indicate it may be an engine temp sensor? Where is this one located please?
I've also ordered a set of plugs, leads etc just to make sure. Never missed a beat in the 2 1/2 years I've had her so far.
Cheers Karl.

I had exactly the same earlier in the year and turned out it was the coil. Ran fine for 3 to 4 miles then when it warmed up there was a random misfire. Checked all sorts of things but eventually replaced the coil and all has been well ever since.
Thanks KeithAny chance you have a link to were you got the correct coil?
ATB Karl.
