Well I have just had a right to-do in my garage this evening - cut a long story short I had to move the car into the road and work on it there!

I'll fill you all in at the bar tomorrow/saturday. I can see the funny side now...

Anyhow most major jobs done - new dizzy cap and arm on there (both the right height) and the new CTS fitted, tried my backup ECU which runs super-rich and hardly idles but might be a last resort to get the car moving if all else fails.

Only thing that didn't arrive are the new spark plugs but hopefully they will be here tomorrow morning. If not that can wait.

Also I adjusted my droopy exhaust tail which now sticks out square. Nice.

And I found some of that foaming wheel cleaner so the OZ's are mostly clean ;^)

The refurbed dash panel is back in but I need to stick the piping surround back on. Might do that when I get there.

Keith your old set are doing the business. My new set didn't turn up anyway so just got the paypal refund.

Tony did you say you can get plugs cheap? If so where from I will order a set now to put in stock for a couple of years time.

Probably better for your air breather but as mine is supercharged I'll stick with the '7's for the moment (as per Dennis Priddle's spec sheet).
