I'm not sure of the correct terminology, but has anybody replaced the rubber shim (between body and chassis) from above the front suspension as a stand alone job? My near side one has squidged out over the years so I want to replace it. I'd like to know what I need to undo and where a suitable jacking point would be to enable enough clearance to take the old one out and replace it. Any advise on how to tackle it without lifting the whole body or causing undue stress on the body would be appreciated.

Thanks for the replies. I suppose if there's a bit of a gap there, rather than the body resting on it, then that would explain how the packing has worked its way out. I'll get around to replacing it one day as it needs doing, but I've been saying that for thirteen years now.
