I've been looking for T1-R's on a 245/45/16, been out of stock for weeks. What's going on?

Yeah I got my last set 2 years ago and there were some special offers around so not expensive. It's strange how some people like them and some hate them, what pressures are you running at Ian?

Was told no new stock in the UK until the end of May. I'm waiting for a call....

I use mine in the winter ;^) Ideally you want to buy them in the autumn so you have the most tread all winter. However if you only do a few thousand miles a year it doesn't make much odds, I get about 15k miles out of a pair down to 2mm.

26F/24R IIRC.

It could just be that all the tyres I've had in the past have been a bit more compliant but the Toyos definitely feel a bit tip-toey to me in corners...
That might be your issue then, I have 225 on the front and 245 on the rear so I run equal pressures, but much lower, I used to run 19 psi but now run 20 (measured when cold). If I put that much air in they definitely feel less grippy. With 19 I found that the shoulders were wearing a bit more than the centre of the tread, 20 seems like a good compromise.

Those are nuttier than R888's!

T1R's now in stock at blackcircles at around £90 per corner.
