Cheers for that, a bit of a mixed bag then, I agree with the Steiner logo on the door it just looked wrong! The guy started the car up and yes she's a beast alright. I thought I'd stumbled across something rare in the wedge world. For what she is it would have a huge smile factor but has a lot of paint fade in fact the bonnet looks a totally different colour of red. Could be avery nice car.

Cheers for all that info, going to arrange a test drive plus the guy is happy for it to go up on the ramp. So what are these cars like for spares any parts hard to get hold of ? As I own a S3 series car things such as brake servos and indicators are rare as hens teeth, is there a website showing alternative parts for the 350i ?

Cheers

Also... Insurance came out only £20 more than my V6 S3 so happy but cant find info on road tax. Anyone on here got a 4.5ltr 80's wedge for a road tax price?

It's a nice looking car and yes it sounded very nice however my V6 S3 sounds more like a V8 so I have to put the exhaust note aside really. yes a very good price and fun to keep and restore my crux of this is it having the 4.5 which would make it a bit different...... I shall investigate the engine number.
