After a slave cylinder for the 350SE. After the catastrophic failure on the way home from the BBWF. The slave cylinder was OK until it come undone and wedged the clutch down, so no drive.

Has one of the holding bolts come undone or has the slave casting failed? If it is bolted down tight I wouldn't have expected it to twist as is shown. I got a new slave from Rimmer last year and I thinki it was the more expensive one from Doms list of two.
Both bolts came undone, the bolt still in has twisted in the last few threads and jammed the release fork down. If the piston seal wasn't damaged it could of been bolted straight back in and away we go.

Hi Guys

Went for the FTC5071 after a little research its the same as a UKC8677. The one off the bay looked the same casting as the one that came off so taken a gamble. Thankfully the bolt holes are ok, and with the addition of some spring washers and correct length bolts we should be up and running again.

Thanks guys

Jimbo

Slave cylinder turned up and yes. the thread is different. now the thread on the master end is a spot on fit for the slave. so guessing its been changed as the slave wasn't original. Just need a new pipe.

Got the pipe made up by a well known motor factors, the only thing is they no longer offer this service.(not what you know). They didn't have quite enough 1/4 pipe, so its been rerouted slightly.
