I am after peoples opinions please. I want to refurb the outer rims of my 350i wheels but not sure what would look best, polished, diamond cut or just repainted as per originals? any pics of yours would be great as well.

Thanks guys for all your pictures, i like all of them. Just had some quotes for both powder coating and diamond cutting and they have ranged from £280 to £320 and to be honest i have more pressing things that need that money spending on than wheels so i have decided to have a go at them myself and spend that money elsewere.
I will post some pictures of my efforts.

I didnt take any before photos but will of the next wheel to do. They are not that bad so all I had to do was sand the rims and some of the centre bits that were chipped. Got halfords to mix some paint that matches the body, used normal alloy wheel silver for the rims. Masked up which took ages then primed, top coat then laquer. I also did the hup caps the same as the chrome finish on all of them looks really tatty. Painted the wheel nuts as well. If money was no object I would have had the rims polished and the centres redone too but its not.

I normally run the rears at 24psi Zig but I will check them to be sure. Thanks guys for your kind words. Only 3 more to do! Then onto the other jobs like window runners, under bonnet bling, front shocks and springs, roof and spoiler repair.
